Manchester United finalise personal terms with £100m Bundesliga attacker: report

Manchester United have reportedly finalised personal terms with Jadon Sancho and they are convinced that they are leading the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund attacker.

The England international is one of the most sought-after forwards in European football, having been consistently contributing in the form of goals and assists for his club.

In the current season alone, Sancho has registered 17 goals and 19 assists from 35 appearances and he has made a contribution in every 80 minutes on the playing field.

According to The Sun, United have been in secret talks with the player over the past few months and they have now reached an agreement over the personal terms.

The same outlet states that the club have finalised the contract length, salary, bonuses and a hefty buy-out clause for Sancho and they now need to negotiate the transfer fee with Dortmund.

Dortmund are said to be eyeing a British record fee for the former Manchester City graduate and the figure could be around £100m with the inclusion of performance-based add-ons.

United have found some solution on the right side of the attack this term with Mason Greenwood and Daniel James registering a combined tally of 10 goals and eight assists from the position.

However, Sancho would provide Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a permanent option for the role and he would form a formidable attack alongside Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial.

In this case, James may be restricted to a reduced role off the bench. Meanwhile, Greenwood primarily featured in the number nine role during his academy days and he could possibly replace Martial in the long-run.
