Manchester United have reportedly entered the race for Barcelona defender Mikayil Faye.
The 19-year-old joined Barcelona Atletic last summer and has impressed with his performances.
He has netted three goals in 24 appearances in the Spanish third tier.
The youngster has yet to make his senior debut at Barcelona but he recently received his first call-up to the Senegal squad.
He took full advantage of the opportunity to showcase his skills, scoring a spectacular goal to help his side secure a 3-0 win over Gabon.
Barcelona turned down £13 million offers from Nice and Lens in January but interest in the defender is increasing from other elite European clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, Man United are among the clubs monitoring Faye ahead of a potential summer transfer.
The Red Devils reportedly sent their scouts to the Senegal match to watch the teenager play at the Stade de la Licorne.
Faye could be an excellent acquisition for the Premier League giants as he is young, versatile and has plenty of potential.
A deal for the teenager would cost them around £25 million.
United face competition from Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich who are keeping tabs on him.
