Manchester United are said to be on the hunt for Real Madrid left back Sergio Reguilon. The Spaniard was on loan at Sevilla last season and impressed, particularly towards the latter stages of the Europa League, where United got a firsthand experience of Reguilon.
Those performances have attracted the interest of not only United, but also other clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Juventus. Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui is also keen on bringing Reguilon back to Sevilla.
The 23-year-old does not have a place in Zidane Zidane’s squad – with the Frenchman having Ferland Mendy and Marcelo at his disposal. Los Blancos are looking for a fee of €20-25 million for Reguilon.
MEN understands that Reguilon is not a priority for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as of now. But with Luke Shaw’s fitness issues and Brandon Williams’ inexperience – this is something which could accelerate very quickly.
