Manchester United can swoop in £100m for Juventus forward as he falls out of new manager Andrea Pirlo’s plans

Maurizio Sarri was sacked after getting knocked out of the Champions League to Lyon in the Round of 16. With the unveiling of Andrea Pirlo as their new manager, the Bianconeri are looking to make some changes in personnel.

Pirlo is now ready to wield the axe and get rid of players who don’t fit his system, and Dybala appears to be the first name to go.

The Argentinean forward was tipped to leave the Italian champions last summer amid interests from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. However, he stayed with the Old Lady.

Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, via FanSided, claims Juventus have made Dybala available for sale this summer, but they will only accept an extremely lucrative bid from any interested teams. Local reports in Italy claim that Dybala isn’t part of Andrea Pirlo’s plans. Juve’s asking price is £100m.

It is believed that Dybala is open to a Premier League move too.

It could be a match made in heaven for the Red Devils if they manage to secure Dybala’s services. However, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, shelling out £100m for the 26-year-old could be too much. It depends entirely on United’s finances whether the deal could go through or not.
