Man Utd’s FA Cup quarter-final opponent confirmed

Manchester United were comfortable 2-0 winners over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening to book our place in this season’s FA Cup quarter-final. United are now one of the favourites to win the FA Cup this season, so you can use any of these sign up offers available in UK on 2019 to back us for a domestic trophy this season.

Ander Herrera headed us into the lead on the half-hour mark following an excellent cross from Paul Pogba down the left. Pogba doubled our lead on the stroke of half-time following Marcus Rashford’s excellent work and cross from the right.

Chelsea did dominate possession and territory in the second half but never tested Sergio Romero after the break. The Argentine’s only two saves in the game both came early on as the Blues offered very little.

The draw for the 2018-19 FA Cup quarter-final has now been made and is as follows:

Swansea City vs Manchester City
Watford vs Crystal Palace
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester United
Millwall vs Brighton & Hove Albion

For a third successive round we have been drawn in the most-anticipated match of the round as we go to fellow top half Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. It is also our third consecutive away tie having been to Arsenal and Chelsea in the previous rounds.

The ties will take place on the weekend of 16-17 March with a place at Wembley Stadium in the semi-finals at stake.
