Man Utd would be ready to pay £74-78 million to sign Juventus star Kenan Yildiz

Manchester United could pursue another forward next year, according to Quotidiano Sportivo.

The Red Devils had a productive summer transfer window with five additions to the squad.

Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko were signed to bolster the attack.

Alongside them, goalkeeper Senne Lammens and left-back Diego Leon were recruited.

United are expected to invest in more players next year, and Quotidiano Sportivo claim that they would be ready to offer £74-78 million to purchase Kenan Yildiz from Juventus.

A big-money sale would help the Bianconeri to improve their finances, but it is reported that the Turin giants have no interest in losing Yildiz and plan to renew his contract instead.

The Turin giants have already offered a salary slightly less than £4.3m per year to Yildiz. They may have to raise their package to reach an agreement with the Turkey international.

Yildiz speculation appears to be agent-driven

The 20-year-old had his major breakthrough season with Juventus last term. He registered 21 goal contributions from 52 appearances in all competitions for the Bianconeri.

He has carried over the form during the ongoing season. The Bayern Munich graduate has six goal involvements from eight outings and has impressed in the World Cup qualifiers.

Yildiz, who was recently praised as a ‘good player‘ by France legend Zinedine Zidane, is primarily a left-sided winger but can operate from the opposite flank as well.

Under Juventus boss Igor Tudor, he has also played as an attacking midfielder or a second striker.

His versatility and big potential should attract plenty of high-profile interest, but we are not convinced that United could seek to land his signature in the coming year.

United have already bolstered the attacking midfield department with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. Mason Mount and Amad Diallo are quality competitors.

Bruno Fernandes has been playing from the number eight position this campaign, but the Portuguese is an attacking midfielder, who has made several goal contributions for the club.

Instead of another attacker, United are yearning for a top-class defensive midfielder, who can provide an upgrade on Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte in terms of control and distribution.

United are more likely to spend big on a holding midfielder next. The speculation regarding Yildiz could be agent-driven in order to secure his desired contract from the Bianconeri.
