Man Utd wonderkid Bendito Mantato attracting interest from rival Premier League clubs

Manchester United youngster Bendito Mantato has earned rave reviews with his performances for the academy teams in recent weeks.

The 16-year-old scored four goals against Blackburn Rovers in a 5-2 victory for the Under-18s last month.

He was also on the scoresheet in a friendly for the Under-21s last weekend.

The teenager’s excellent development has reportedly caught the attention of rival clubs in the Premier League, according to the Manchester Evening News.

United could receive a six-figure sum in compensation if they decide to sell the player.

However, they have been in talks with the teenager and hope to convince him to commit his long-term future to them.

United’s academy deserves plenty of praise

Manchester United’s academy has produced several world-class players in recent years.

Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are the best examples of the academy’s re-emergence.

More talented youngsters will break into the first team over the next years, with Mainoo and Garnacho serving as an inspiration to the next generation.

Mantato has plenty of potential, but Omari Forson, Ethan Williams and Willy Kambwala have also been impressive this season.
