Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for Juventus and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala this month.
The 25-year-old saw his productivity decline at the Allianz Stadium following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.
Dybala still made 25 Serie A starts and a further six appearances from the bench last season, but only scored five goals, assisting four more. The previous season, without Ronaldo as a teammate, the Argentine forward scored 22 goals and setup five more in 33 top flight appearances (26 starts).
Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United will find out about Paulo Dybala’s situation in the “next two or three days”.
It was revealed a couple of days ago that Juventus would be willing to do a swap deal with us for Romelu Lukaku. The Belgium striker’s future at Old Trafford has come into question over the summer so this could be a great deal for both sides involved.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, GMT, Fabrizio Romano answered a question on Twitter about Dybala’s situation:
in some days – 2 or 3 days I guess – the Dybala situation will be decided!

However, some reports have suggested that Paulo Dybala wants to stay at Juventus and fight for his place in the first team, but that he will first hold talks with new manager Maurizio Sarri to find out about his squad status.
We shall have to wait and see if we can pull off this transfer. There’s no doubt that Dybala would be an excellent addition to our squad. What’s more, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferred Marcus Rashford to Romelu Lukaku in attack last season, so we could be landing a first team player in exchange for a squad player.
