Man Utd set to complete signing of Le Havre wonderkid Enzo Kana-Biyik

Manchester United are poised to secure their second signing of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have been pretty active since the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

The club have already recruited Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker Matheus Cunha.

The hierarchy are also discussing the transfer of Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo.

A marquee striker is another top priority for the Mancunian giants. They have made initial contact with Sporting CP over a potential deal for Viktor Gyokeres.

Meanwhile, the club are also focused on improving their squad with emerging talents.

Manchester Evening News claim that they are expected to formally announce the arrival of Le Havre wonderkid Enzo Kana-Biyik on a free transfer agreement.

The Red Devils are waiting on a few regulatory steps before making the transfer official.

The 18-year-old is a centre-forward with immense potential. Kana-Biyik spent the recent campaign with Le Havre’s first team and was named in the matchday squad twice.

However, he did not make his competitive debut as the Ligue 1 outfit battled relegation for most of the season. They just avoided the drop with a final-day victory over Strasbourg.

Kana-Biyik did turn up for the club’s Under-19s while training with the senior squad. The teenager registered an impressive nine goals from 16 appearances in all competitions.

The youngster now follows in the footsteps of Paul Pogba to the Red Devils. The France international also signed for the club as a highly rated teenager from Le Havre’s academy.

United have no plans to loan out Kana-Biyik. He is most likely to be integrated into the Under-21 set-up, where the likes of Chido Obi and Sekou Kone have made a big impression.

Chido Obi made his senior United debut earlier this year after his move from Arsenal. With Kana-Biyik’s arrival, the 17-year-old should get more minutes with the first team next term.

Kone will also be hoping for a breakthrough. The midfielder made the matchday squad on a few occasions and could make the grade if he has a good pre-season campaign.
