Man Utd outcast Jadon Sancho shines in huge Bundesliga win over Bayern Munich

Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho delivered an impressive performance as Borussia Dortmund claimed a huge victory over Bayern Munich on Saturday.

The result leaves the Bavarians 13 points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga table, which means their title ambitions are almost over now.

Edin Terzi’s side ran out 2-0 winners after Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson scored in each half to register their first league victory in Munich for ten years.

Sancho failed to contribute a goal or an assist at the Allianz Arena but his overall performance in the match was impressive.

The 24-year-old had 41 touches during his 84 minutes on the pitch, boasting over 80 percent pass accuracy. He attempted five dribbles and was successful on four occasions.

His best moment in the game came during the first half when he displayed excellent close control and skills to outdo Bayern full-back Alphonso Davies.

Sancho also contributed a key pass and won four of his five ground duels. He lost possession eight times but completed an interception.

The 24-year-old endured a difficult start to life back in Germany after joining Dortmund on loan from Man United in January.

However, he has delivered some solid performances in his last few outings.

The Bundesliga giants are keen on extending the winger’s stay at the club as they are willing to pay £35 million to make his move permanent.
