Manchester United are expected to make a couple of new signings over the summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to improve our side.
We are currently on a seven-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League since the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Club of Lisbon at the end of January, having lost three of the four immediate games before his arrival.
Fernandes has been fantastic in almost every game he has played since joining, whilst we have also seen improvements from the rest of our team too. Last Wednesday, Anthony Martial bagged his first Manchester United hat-trick, and Paul Pogba has played with enthusiasm since the restart.
It is expected that the boss will sign a wide forward, central midfielder and maybe a centre-back before the start of next season.
One central midfielder who has been strongly linked with us this year is Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish. The 24-year-old has been excellent for the West Midlands club, initially dragging them out of the Championship last season before being their best player of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, Villa find themselves in the relegation zone with seven games to play and with the future England international’s future at Villa Park in doubt.
In a report from the Express last night, they believe that we are “on the verge” of signing Jack Grealish;
“Express Sport understands the Red Devils are already on the verge of signing a replacement in the form of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.”
The ‘replacement’ is in reference to Angel Gomes’ impending departure from Old Trafford as we’re previously covered.
Jack Grealish would be a huge acquisition for Manchester United given how he can dictate games from the middle of the park and is such a hard worker.
It was reported earlier this month that Aston Villa put an £80 million price tag on their star player.
