Italian star Marco Verratti could be the next player to sign at Old Trafford after reports state we are considering an approach for the Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder.
This comes after reports suggested the 25-year-old is ready to leave the French champions after six seasons at the clubs and five Ligue 1 titles in his pocket.
Verratti has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United and perhaps now is the time for Jose Mourinho and co to make a move. There is no doubt the central midfielder will be hot property and with Italy not participating in this summer’s World Cup the player has no other distractions this summer.

There’s no doubt that Marco Verratti could be a star at Manchester United. The midfielder is excellent at maintaining possession, keeping things ticking and starting attacks. He’d be the perfect replacement for the retired Michael Carrick who used to play a similar role for us.
