Comuzzo was brilliant when it came to contesting duels. The Italian ace won an equal proportion of his ground and aerial duels (60 percent).
He also averaged 3.2 clearances, 2.6 recoveries and 1.3 tackles per outing. Comuzzo had a relatively good passing accuracy of 86 percent last term.
Fiorentina sanctioned the sale of Nikola Milenkovic to Forest for £12 million last summer. The Serbian has proved a huge hit, helping them qualify for Europe.
It has been reported that Comuzzo could be sold for at least £20m despite his new contract. For that price tag, he would be a good long-term signing for United.
The Red Devils recently parted ways with Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans, and Comuzzo would be a useful acquisition due to his immense potential.
Forest already have a good working relationship with La Viola. United must be proactive in purchasing the young Italian ahead of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
