Manchester United are looking at signing Roma star Paulo Dybala, who could be available for just €12 million this summer, Calciomercato report.
Dybala signed for the Giallorossi on a free transfer from Juventus last summer, and he has since been a revelation with 11 goals and seven assists from only 21 appearances.
His form has caught the eye of United as well as Newcastle and it is now reported that he could be prised away for just €12m at the end of the season.
As part of his contract signed last summer, Dybala agreed a €20m buy-out clause for Serie A clubs. This value reduces to €12m for teams outside of Italy.
Meanwhile, there is an automatic renewal option that could cancel the clause, but that depends on Jose Mourinho staying and Roma qualifying for the Champions League.
Signing Dybala for €12m is a no-brainer decision
Dybala has been one of the most consistent performers in Italian football. When fit and available, he has been a regular threat with goal involvements.
The 29-year-old has 18 goal contributions from the second striker role this campaign and in our opinion, he would be a huge bargain signing for United.
Manager Erik ten Hag has shown that he values experience in his squad, having signed Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer.
Dybala would fall into a similar category and appears a no-brainer signing for €12m as he is a proven match-winner that can produce clutch moments.
United will be hoping that Roma fail to qualify for the Champions League via a top-four league finish or by winning the Europa League this season.
