Man Utd closer to Sancho deal than ever

Things are getting exciting as a Manchester United fan. We return to Premier League action on Friday with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur, where we would end the night in fourth place with a win.

And a deal appears to be on the card for Borussia Dortmund and England star Jadon Sancho to add to the positive news.

The Star on Sunday have reported that our proposed summer move for the 20-year-old is closer than ever.

The report claims that Sancho has told Dortmund officials that he wants out this summer, with Manchester United his “preferred destination”.

Though they are basing some of this on the forward being fined by the German club for getting a haircut during lockdown.

Jadon Sancho has scored 17 goals and recorded 16 assists in 29 Bundesliga games (24 starts) this season. He put in a quiet performance during Borussia Dortmund’s 1-0 win away to Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday.

It’s no secret that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be in the summer transfer market for a right winger this summer, having failed to settle on one since first taking charge of the Red Devils in December 2018.

Sancho would be a huge acquisition and statement of intent from the club, potentially forming a mouth-watering attack with Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial/Daniel James.
