Man United face competition to sign €50m target – Juventus latest to show interest

Italian champions Juventus are looking to snatch Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga away from Real Madrid and Manchester United.

According to Daily Mail, Juventus are keen on the midfielder and will look to sneak him away under the European clubs’ nose. New boss Andrea Pirlo wants Camavinga to play an important role in his young side.

Eduardo Camavinga’s performances for Rennes in his debut season has shown the spotlight on him.

He became the youngest scorer for France with his goal against Ukraine.

His performances attracted attention from Man United, Real Madrid, PSG and Juventus.

Juventus are trying to cultivate a good relationship with Rennes. They have loaned out Daniele Rugani to the French side.

This is bad news for Manchester United.

United were looking at Camavinga as a replacement to Paul Pogba.

But, Pogba’s new contract extension will surely put things in a bind for some time.

Camavinga was a hot property in the summer, but Rennes’s refusal to selling the midfielder, financial difficulties due to COVID-19 and Camavinga’s decision to stay put a stop to that.

Eduardo Camavinga is valued at €50 million by TransferMarkt.
