Man United could sign Victor Osimhen for €65 million, he wants a Premier League move

Manchester United are gearing up for a crucial summer transfer window as they eye a marquee striker to fix their toothless attack.

Their 2024-25 campaign has been nothing short of disastrous, plagued by misfiring forwards and a lack of cohesion in the final third.

The Red Devils are linked with a number of strikers, including Victor Osimhen.

According to ESPN, Osimhen favours a move to England or Italian giants Juventus.

He is reportedly ‘available for €65 million’ (£56m) and will demand a salary of €11m a year after tax.

The world-class centre-forward is currently spending the 2024-25 season with Galatasaray.

He has been in fantastic form, smashing 28 goals and five assists in just 32 appearances across all competitions.

For United, this is a golden opportunity to sign a striker who not only wants to play in England but also boasts a killer instinct in front of goal.

Osimhen brings a lethal mix of explosive pace, strength and clinical finishing.

Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in acquiring his services.

United are likely to operate with limited spending power due to the Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR).

They have earmarked Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap as their primary target due to budget constraints.

Delap could make a move to Old Trafford in a £40m deal, especially if the Tractor Boys fail to stay in the English top flight.

The 22-year-old has the potential to shine but United must opt for a proven striker.

With a frontline already stacked with youthful promise, the club cannot afford to roll the dice again on inexperience.

To return to glory, United must break the cycle and bring in a proven striker who can hit the ground running.
