Manchester United are expecting Jadon Sancho to leave permanently this summer, according to the Telegraph.
Sancho joined the Bundesliga club on loan in January for the rest of the season.
He was dropped after refusing to apologise to Erik ten Hag for effectively calling him a liar.
United paid a staggering £72.9 million to Dortmund to acquire Sancho’s services in 2021.
However, he failed to live up to expectations and his fallout with the manager scuppered his hopes of staying with the club.

Sancho’s strained relationship with Ten Hag could ultimately lead to his permanent exit from United.
His form has improved since moving back to Dortmund. He has bagged three goals and an assist in 16 appearances for the club.
However, his numbers are still short of what he registered during his first spell at Dortmund.
Sancho is set to feature against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.
His loan deal with the German giants does not include an option to buy.
This means he is scheduled to return to Old Trafford in July if no club steps up to sign him.
Ten Hag has shown that he is unwilling to lower standards and ethics for any squad member.
Cristiano Ronaldo faced the Dutchman’s wrath in 2022, and Sancho suffered the same fate last year.
Fabrizio Romano reported earlier that the German outfit are eager to retain the winger’s services beyond the summer.
However, they must secure European football to prepare a robust offer for the Red Devils.
If Ten Hag remains as United manager next season, the Premier League giants are likely to sanction Sancho’s exit.
