Manchester United have finalised a transfer deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, as claimed by several reports.
The Red Devils will be paying £73 million (€90 million) to acquire the services of the 21-year old winger.
ESPN reports that the club will wait until the end of the European Championships to officially announce this mega-signing.
The youngster will be required to undergo a medical which is only possible after Euro 2020 due to strict bubble protocols.
This has been one of the longest transfer sagas in the recent memory of United supporters.
The 20-time Premier League champions tried to sign Sancho last summer but the two clubs failed to agree on a fee.
The England international is one of Europe’s leading attacking talents, scoring 50 goals and assisting 64 times in 137 games for the Bundesliga club.
United have struggled to beat teams that sit deep and defend as a unit.
The same tactic was used by Villarreal in the Europa League final which the Red Devils ultimately lost.
He will bolster Solskjaer’s offensive resources and help the club to fight for silverware.
Sancho will be playing alongside Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes supplying from behind.
