The one is a headless chicken that cost Β£47 million, the other is a deadly finisher worth absolutely nothing! One of the best deals Fergie have made? πŸ˜‰ Time will tell… 😎

Just watching the United goals again, and I wonder what would have been the general opinion of β€œfans” had Foster conceded these goals. πŸ™„

On the Rooney goal city defending is shocking.
On Fletcher’s goals Foster would have been called incompetent coming for crosses.
On Owen’s goals Foster would have probably been blamed all the same with poor positioning…

    Anyways I’m off. Night’ all!

OK I am back from my day of work and now I can comfortably give my feeling about the spectacle that we all witnessed today. WOW! What a game. This will go down as an instant classic and will be one of those games we all record and watch over and over whenever we are feeling blue or when we need to get excited.

I am not going to review everyone’s performance but I will comment on certain players and what they contributed today. Let me start of with the man of the match in my opinion. Who other than Ryan Giggs. Continues to defy time and there is a reason that whenever i put down the old guys on the team, he is never included in that group. I absolutely love him and he is all class. A great performance today in crossing dribbling and causing absolute havoc for Man Shitty. In fact, other than the step he has lost in pace, I fail to think of another winger in world football who can turn defenders inside and out with his 1 to 1 dribbling and changes of direction. Start him every game as far as I am concerned because he still has it and he still makes a massive impact in games.

Darren Fletcher. Quite simply, Darren is helping forget a player by the name of Keane. A menace on defense, always in advantageous positions and today he added offensive aggression to his game by attacking the box with his runs and scoring two fantastic headers by attacking the ball and running and jumping to itrather than just standing in the box like Berba and waiting for it to hit his head. This is the same thing that has turned Crouch a much more dangerous player in the air too. The fact that he attacks the ball from a running start position allows him to be unpredictable, allows him to get higher in the air and get more on his headers too. Fletcher has just become a complete player and to be honest, he must start all our league and European games. Our midfield is useless without him and very good with him.

Berbatov. Many will say that he was woefully unlucky today and he was, but I will venture to say that he needs to be more assertive and aggressive and he needs to stop aiming for the center of the goal with his shots and headers. There is a reason those balls aren’t going in. His confidence is zero and when a player is struggling with zero confidence, they aren’t about to get cute and trying to hit corners. I like Berba and I think he is valuable but personally, I think we are better with Michael Owen on the pitch alongside Rooney.

Michael Owen. Mickey you beauty you! Today I fell in love with a Scouser. His goal just made me jump with joy even though I never saw it. I had gone to my computer and had typed “Blame it on Rio” and was beginning a rant about how Rio cost us this game when Owen scored his goal. Lesson learned. It’s never over until it’s over. His goal was fantastic and well taken and i for one believed before he scored and believe even more so now that he has arrived and he needs to start more games. His goal today was not just timely, it was a special moment to be cherished for years.

Rio Fucking Ferdinand. I love Rio but I honestly need to know what the fuck he smoked before this game started. Sure he has been out for a while but he has lost a step and his mind is clearly suffering from some numbing narcotic because he simply should be shot for that schoolboy mistake. This is England’s top defender? Wake the fuck up Rio because this team needs you now more than ever because of the total pratt who is playing goal. Don’t gift the opposition goals.

Ben Fucking Foster? Or was that David Foster in goal today? The last line of defense, old reliable, the Berlin fucking wall. No that’s not Foster, that’s the attributes of his replacement Manuel Neuer (I hope). As for Foster his goalkeeping is amateur and pathetic. An absolute idiot on the first, no chance on the second because he just isn’t Schmeichel enough to perform the impossible and and ass clown on the third even though Rio should take the brunt of the blame for it. He’s just NOT GOOD ENOUGH, simple and to the point. Fergie needs to wake up and realize that eve Pig is a better keeper than this muppet. Enough of him already. EVDS, come back soon and please Fergie, PLEASE, buy Manuel Neuer next season.

My final praise for todays game must go to Fergie. Yes Fergie. We gave up three useless and very careless goals because our defense is rubbish right now but Fergie got the tactics right today, especially in the second half. We have played a hand full of great games in the last 15 months like away to Arsenal last year, home to Chelsea last year and our great game vs Spurs this season but that second half is the United I have actually been waiting to see since way back before Beckham left. Yes before Beckham left. Where we played an all out attacking 4-4-2 with width, tons of crosses into the box, pace , aggression and total attacking commitment. It was a thing of fucking beauty. It’s what I have been bitching and complaining about for two years now. Now do you all see what I am talking about? And forget the fact we gave up two gift goals. We were solid, gave them to gift chances all half and could have scored six. The two goals we gave up were faults of our keepers ineptitude and Rio’s schoolboy stupidity and O’Shea laying off Bellamy too much that he gifted the Welsh cunt a freebie. Cut out hose moments of poor focus and concentration and that half was sheer perfection. Why why why don’t we play like that all the time? Thank you Fergie for offering that blast from the past to me that reminded me of why I became a Man Utd fan to begin with. WOW, what a day. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Oh and to Carlos the Invisible Man Tevez. SUCKS TO BE YOU!

@Grognard: How did you think Ando did? πŸ™‚ Him and Fletcher in midfield just rocks!

I’m not sure whether i have said this here. Since Ronaldo left in the summer i said our system will go back to the 90s where we play crossers in to the box and every one is still wondering how do we get the goals. I like to say now i told you so. I felt so good that i have this thoughts and it came true.

As for foster, i do agree with his 1st goal and 3rd goal. 3rd goal to me is the basic where keeper have to come out and narrow the angle down to opponent but he stay still at the goal. It’s disappointing.

However, this is a perfect start and i’m happy with it.

@Footy4Eddy: Anderson was alright but again he seemed to fade late in the game. He needs to get more physical with players as many get by him very easily. There was one play in particular where Kolo Tour went by him very easily near our box and I’m sorry but nobody should a CB get by them like they Arshavin. He needs to become more aggressive but I do see flashes of brilliance and more confidence in taking shots. But still, to be honest i just don’t think he is the answer. But last year I didn’t think Fletcher was either. Now I would never sit him down.

@kel: So obviously all those other games that we have played where we didn’t play like that don’t count. Make a comment like that after you see the team play a dozen games like that, not one half. πŸ™„
