Kim Min-jae set to join Man Utd, Chelsea star could replace him at Napoli

Napoli could re-sign Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly on loan with Kim Min-jae expected to join Manchester United this summer, Il Mattino report.

The Red Devils have been continuously linked with Min-jae over the past few weeks and Il Mattino insist that the South Korean will sign for the club soon.

The Italian publication add that the Naples outfit could consider Koulibaly as a replacement for the centre-back. They could propose to land him on loan.

The Senegal star is open to rejoining Napoli but it would depend on whether the Blues are willing to accept a temporary deal with his salary being shared.

Min-jae could be on his way to Man Utd

United recently secured their Champions League place with a convincing victory over Chelsea. This is a huge boost for them in the pursuit of Min-jae this summer.

The 26-year-old has reportedly given the green light for a transfer and qualifying for the elite club competition has put United in a strong position to sign him.

Min-jae has barely any weaknesses in his game. He is a ball-playing defender who averages more than 70 passes per outing. He has averaged 1.6 tackles and 3.6 clearances.

The centre-back has also caught the eye with his superb aerial ability. Hence, he is a no-brainer signing for United and could be signed for a reasonable transfer fee.

He has a €60 million release clause in his existing Napoli deal but United have to wait until July to sign him. The buy-out clause will be active for the first 15 days of July.
