Jadon Sancho will not submit a transfer request to Borussia Dortmund as Manchester United fail to reach €120m valuation

The transfer Saga of Jadon Sancho to Manchester United has dragged on for too long. The Borussia Dortmund winger has been Manchester United’s top transfer priority this season.

United are nowhere close to Dortmund’s evaluation of €120m for Sancho. The German club has publically declared the transfer as a no-deal.

United are feeling hard done with the tactics used by Dortmund’s negotiating team not taking into account the effects of financial constraint being put on the club due to the COVID-19 breakout.

United are not giving up on the move and are still pushing for the deal to happen. With the official deadline day of the transfer season months away, United would also like Sancho to speak to the Dortmund officials with regards to him leaving the club.

The reports from German Publication BILD and a Tier 1 podcast from transfer mogul Fabrizio Romano confirm that Sancho would not try to force a move away from the German Club.

The report from BILD states as follows: “It looks like Manchester United are set to be disappointed again, as Sancho respects the club’s decision, and will continue to play with the same commitment as he did last season. “

Borussia Dortmund is under absolutely no pressure to sell him this summer. Sancho’s under contract until 2023. They can sell him next season if they want to.

Combine that with Manchester United’s insistence on not paying the asking price of €120m and the only takeaway is that the transfer of this 20-year-old will be dragging on for a long long time.
