“It looks good” – Journalist issues update on Man United move for Enzo Kana-Biyik

Manchester United may be going through their worst campaign in the club’s storied history, but there’s still plenty for the Red Devils to play for this season.

United have failed to win any of their last four Premier League games (L3).

Their most recent defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers means they can no longer finish any higher than eighth, which will set the record for their worst-ever position in Premier League history.

Ruben Amorim’s side need to endure five more league games before they can put this miserable campaign behind them.

The Europa League has been a beacon of hope, but an upcoming semi-final clash against Athletic Bilbao will keep the fans on the edge of their seats.

While the Portuguese manager looks to sort out on-field issues, the club are already making transfer plans.

This summer is shaping up to be one of the most important in the club’s recent history.

As expected, United will be very busy, with the club hierarchy set to sanction an open-heart surgery on Amorim’s massively underwhelming squad.

United are expected to bring in reinforcements across the pitch, but a striker and a midfielder are more of a priority than the defensive areas.

That’s because they’ve already spent a significant sum to bring in Patrick Dorgu from Lecce and Leny Yoro from Lille.

Unlike previous years when they lured soon-to-be washed-up stars to Old Trafford with ridiculous wages, the new management is more interested in building for the future.

They want to bring in young talents who can develop into world-beaters.

Having already added Ayden Heaven and Dorgu, a new talented youngster could be on the way.

According to French journalist Christopher Michel, United are closing in on a deal for Le Havre striker Enzo Kana-Biyik.

Michel has confirmed that negotiations between the club and Kana-Biyik’s representatives “looks good”, so a deal could be wrapped up in the coming weeks.

The French talent will be a free agent this summer and could join United after impressing with eight goals for Le Havre’s youth side.

If the deal goes through, he would become the first player to ditch Le Havre for United since Paul Pogba back in 2009.
