Hammer blow for Manchester United as ‘remarkable’ Brian Brobbey gives Ten Hag definitive answer

Brian Brobbey has personally rang Erik ten Hag to tell him that he will not be joining Manchester United this summer.

That’s according to a report from De Telegraaf who claim that the 20-year-old forward made direct contact with the United boss to inform him that he won’t be moving to Old Trafford this summer.

That’s obviously a big blow for United considering just how talented Brobbey is. Ten Hag has so much work to do at Old Trafford this summer.

The Dutchman desperately needs to add young, energetic and hungry players to his ranks at United.

And it seems as though the United manager will now have to look elsewhere after Brobbey personally informed him of his decision.

Brian Brobbey makes Manchester United decision

The 20-year-old RB Leipzig ace won’t be joining the Red Devils this summer. That’s a huge shame and ten Hag will undoubtedly be extremely disappointed.

Brobbey bagged an impressive eight goals and one assist in 14 games for Ajax during a loan spell with the Eredivisie outfit last season. The powerful young striker possesses blistering pace and is highly energetic.

The young Dutchman is hard-working and is always willing to make tireless runs into the channels to free up space for his teammates.

He has been described as a ‘remarkable’ player by the Bundesliga’s official website.

It seems as though the forward is more likely to return to Ajax on a permanent deal this summer (De Telegraaf).

We believe that Brobbey would have been a truly superb summer signing for United.

However, it appears that ten Hag has no chance of bringing him to Old Trafford before the start of the new season.
