Granada and Manchester United agree terms for Facundo Pellistri’s loan move

Manchester United’s Facundo Pellistri is reportedly very close to joining Granada on a loan deal this month.

According to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have agreed on terms for the 22-year-old’s transfer.

Recent reports suggested that talks between the two clubs had stalled because Granada were struggling to afford his salary.

However, it looks like the issue has now been resolved, and he is ready to join the Spanish outfit.

Will Ten Hag sanction a move?

The Uruguayan international made his competitive debut for the Red Devils against Charlton Athletic last January.

But he has been struggling for game time this season, making just one Premier League start.

His chances of first-team football at United look very slim, with Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Erk ten Hag may be reluctant to lose Pellistri having already seen Jadon Sancho move to Borussia Dortmund and Omari Forson refusing to sign a new deal

However, the Dutch boss will not want to keep a player at Old Trafford if he has a slim chance of first-team football.

Ten Hag will likely give the green light, and he will join Granada this winter.
