“Get a taxi back to Manchester” – Roy Keane distraught by Man Utd star

Manchester United currently trail Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 at their new stadium in our first game back in the restarted 2019-20 Premier League season.

Steven Bergwijn scored the only goal of the first half thanks to another blunder from David de Gea.

The goalkeeper wasn’t the only Manchester United player at fault – Luke Shaw was out of position following a weak headed clearance and then Harry Maguire was beaten far too easily by the goalscorer.

Bergwijn’s effort from the edge of the penalty area was straight at de Gea but the Spaniard managed to elbow the ball into his own net.

Speaking in the Sky Sports studio at half-time, former Manchester United captain and current pundit, Roy Keane, had this to say about our goalkeeper:

“I wouldn’t even let Maguire or De Gea back on the coach home, I’d let them get a taxi back to Manchester.

“I am sick to death of this goalkeeper. I would be swinging punches at half-time.

“Most overrated goalkeeper I’ve seen in a long, long time.

Moments before the goal Marcus Rashford saw a good effort well saved at the other end by Hugo Lloris and later failed to connect with a good cross into the six yard box.
