Galatasaray are plotting an ambitious move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ahead of the January transfer window.
The Turkish giants have reportedly employed the services of Italian agent George Gardi to facilitate a move for Rashford.
Gardi brokered the deal that brought Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen to the club and is hoping to repeat his magic with the United ace.
The Italian agent reportedly told Galatasaray that he was confident about bringing Rashford to the club and has received their blessings to make the move happen.
Galatasaray are well stocked in attack with Icardi, Osimhen and Mitchy Batsuayi, but the injury to Icardi has decimated their frontline.
Rashford is not in the best of form, scoring five goals in 19 games across all competitions this term. He has received huge criticism as a result.
He has been touted to play a key role under Ruben Amorim and was handed a start in his first match as Red Devils’ boss against Ipswich Town.
The 27-year-old scored the only goal as the Premier League newcomers held United to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League game contested at Portman Road last Sunday.
Rashford’s contract expires in 2028, which means an exit would not come cheap for Galatasaray or any other suitors.
United are highly unlikely to sanction his exit in January but may change their stance in the summer after Amorim has had enough time to evaluate him.
