Galatasaray investigating Jadon Sancho’s situation at Man Utd

Turkish giants Galatasaray are monitoring one of Manchester United’s outcasts ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Haber Sari Kirmizi.

The Red Devils are preparing for a busy summer. There could be multiple players heading for the exit door even if the club qualify for the Champions League.

Marcus Rashford, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho are among players on loan, and the quartet could be sold permanently.

Chelsea have an obligation to purchase Sancho for £25 million, but The Mirror have revealed that the Blues are set to cancel the agreement by paying a £5m penalty fee.

United are prepared to accept less than £20m for Sancho’s future transfer, and Haber Sari Kirmizi report that Galatasaray are ‘investigating’ the forward’s situation at United.

Red Devils set to offload Sancho this summer

Sancho has had another tough Premier League season with the Blues. He started with four assists from his first three league appearances for the west London outfit.

However, the 25-year-old has managed just three goals and one assist from his next 27 top-flight outings. Hence, the Blues have reportedly decided to part ways with him.

United are set to do the same this summer. Bayer Leverkusen are already interested in Sancho and consider him as a potential replacement for wantaway star Florian Wirtz.

Sancho’s £250,000 per week wages are a stumbling block, but United hope to make the numbers work. They are prepared to accept less than £20m to sanction his departure.

In that case, Galatasaray could also enter the pursuit. The Turkish champions currently have Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen (loan) in their squad, who earn £163,000 per week.

If Sancho is willing to accept a reasonable pay cut, the Istanbul outfit could seriously look into a deal.

Like Leverkusen, Galatasaray have also qualified for the league phase of next season’s Champions League, but Sancho could give preference to the former and the Bundesliga.

Sancho has had immense success in the German top-flight with Borussia Dortmund in the past. He could prefer Leverkusen, also due to the better league and competition.
