Fulham make improved £20m bid for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay

Fulham have returned with an improved £20 million bid for Manchester United star Scott McTominay.

The 27-year-old was an important member of Erik ten Hag’s team last season as he featured in 43 matches across all competitions and made 13 goal contributions.

But the Red Devils are ready to cash on him this summer to raise funds for new recruits.

Fulham had a £15m offer turned down by United at the start of the summer but they have returned with an improved £20m bid, per The Telegraph

Manchester United’s valuation of McTominay is reportedly £25-30m and so it remains to be seen how they respond to the Cottagers’ latest offer.

Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have a strong interest in the midfielder, while Everton are also said to be his admirers.

After completing moves for Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee, Erik ten Hag  is now trying to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Manuel Ugarte and Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt.

Noussair Mazraoui is another target for the Premier League giants, but they are trying to raise funds for landing all their top summer targets.

Ideally, they would like to offload Casemiro as the Brazilian’s performances were highly disappointing last season.

But given his enormous wages and the transfer fee, there isn’t a lot of interest in the former Real Madrid star.

United are prepared to sell McTominay this summer but only if they receive the right offer.
