Erik ten Hag can finally unleash his best front three vs Sevilla

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has the opportunity to unleash his best front three in tonight’s Europa League clash against Sevilla on the road.

The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg of the quarter-final tie against the La Liga outfit. The club raced into a comfortable 2-0 lead but squandered the advantage with late own goals.

The second leg will be contested at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan later today and Ten Hag has another chance to start with his best attacking trio.

Marcus Rashford is back in contention after missing the last two games with a groin injury and he looks set to line up alongside Anthony Martial and Antony in attack.

In our opinion, the trio are the best front combination for the Red Devils but they have rarely started together over the course of the campaign amid injury concerns.

Shortly after the World Cup, Rashford and Martial started in the front line but Antony was ruled out.

When Antony became available, it was Martial who picked up a fresh hip injury. The trend continued last week with Rashford missing two games with an untimely setback.

Hence, Ten Hag has not had the freedom to unleash the trio together. He will have the opportunity to do so tonight as United look to progress to the Europa League semi-final.

United dominated the proceedings in the first half at Old Trafford last week but lost their way after the break. There was a drop in intensity which cost them towards the end.

The manager will be expecting a much better attacking display tonight. They need another quick start against the Andalusian outfit. An early goal would settle the nerves.
