Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Galatasaray in the Champions League group stage tonight.
The Red Devils had a poor outing against Crystal Palace in the Premier League over the weekend. They suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss at Old Trafford.
Manager Erik ten Hag will want a strong response tonight and ahead of the game, he has been handed a boost with Antony back in team training.
The Brazilian has had a couple of sessions with the squad after his return and in our view, Ten Hag can finally unleash his best attack from the starting XI.
On paper, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund are nailed-on starters for the Dutchman. The same can be said for Antony.
The manager now has the opportunity to start with the quartet in the XI. They have played just 17 minutes together which came in the Arsenal loss.
Antony has had a difficult start to the campaign for the Red Devils, but he is definitely the club’s best option on the right wing ahead of Pellistri.
Bruno Fernandes has featured from the right flank in recent weeks, but it is quite clear that the captain is comfortable from the number 10 position.
With Antony’s return, Ten Hag can now play his preferred front four and hopefully, United can secure a convincing win over Galatasaray later today.
The club suffered a 4-3 loss to Bayern in the Champions League opener and they can ill-afford another setback against the reigning Turkish champions.
