A selection of Manchester United supporters have heaped praise on defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka following the club’s 4-1 win over Newcastle United in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
The right-back has been one of the leading performers for the Red Devils this campaign and he has been lauded for his tackling abilities in almost every game he has featured for the side.
However, Wan-Bissaka has not impressed in an attacking point of view with his inability to deliver crosses into the box but that saw an improvement on Thursday against the Magpies.
The 22-year-old was afforded with more space to move up the right flank when United were 2-1 up prior to the break and he delivered the perfect cross for Marcus Rashford, who impressively headed in the third goal.
Rashford’s strike contributed to Wan-Bissaka’s first-ever assist in the United shirt and this has certainly pleased a number of the club’s faithful, who have appreciated him on Twitter.
Twitter Reactions:
Wan-Bissaka is elite.

Wan-Bissaka’s defensive abilities have never been doubted and the defeat to Watford last weekend was a rare occasion where he had mistimed a tackle, which rewarded the Hornets with a penalty.
Against the Magpies, he was solid at the back with three tackles and three interceptions (whoscored) but it is pleasing that he is showing an improvement with his crossing, which has remained a point of weakness.
Manchester United are currently seventh in the Premier League standings with 28 points, four adrift of Chelsea, who are holding onto the final Champions League spot.
