Manchester United target Jadon Sancho appeared to be winning in his attempt to get a move back to his homeland this summer.
The 20-year-old continues to be strongly linked with a move to the Red Devils this summer.
Now, German newspaper Bild have published a detailed article that claims Borussia Dortmund are facing an uphill battle to keep hold of the England international.
Bild claims that the German side are losing patience with Sancho’s behaviour, that includes breaking lockdown sanctions and taking an unsanctioned trip to England.
If true, this would be music to the ears of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United.
Jadon Sancho wouldn’t come cheap though, as previous reports have suggested that Dortmund maintain their stance on his £100 million valuation.
A deal in that region would break our club record transfer fee when we paid £89 million for Paul Pogba from Juventus back in 2016.
Borussia Dortmund paid just £8 million for a 17-year-old Sancho from Manchester City three years ago and have helped turn the forward into one of the top star’s in the world.
So far this season Sancho has scored 17 goals recorded 16 assists in his 28 Bundesliga games (23 starts).
If Bild’s article about Borussia Dortmund losing patience with Jadon Sancho in accurate, and if the player really is keen on a move back to England, then a transfer to Manchester United could be very realistic this summer.
