Angel Di Maria has completed his move to PSG less than a year since becoming Manchester United’s most expensive player ever.
After a promising start, the Argentine struggled throughout the remainder of the season amid a slump in form and a rather evident lack of desire.
On Thursday, the former Real Madrid brought a rather embarrassing cameo in a United shirt to an end by moving to the Ligue 1 champions for £45m, considerably less than the £59.7m United shelled out for him a year ago.
“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain,” Di Maria told beIN Sports after being officially unveiled as PSG player.
“What I know about PSG is that they are a team who have won all possible titles in France last season.
“I also know that I want to overcome the obstacle that is the quarter-finals of the Champions League.”
