Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has finally completed his move to Crystal Palace, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The England international was on the United bench for the first three games of the new season. Palace agreed a fee for him last weekend, and he has now completed the necessary formalities.
Tavolieri has confirmed that the 26-year-old has finally made the switch to the south London club, thereby ending the speculation over his future.
The Eagles have agreed to pay £15 million up front with a further £5m in add-ons.
United will announce new signing to replace Henderson
Henderson had no plans of playing second fiddle to Andre Onana this season. United made the right choice to sanction his permanent departure from the club.
The club have already found his successor for the deputy role in Altay Bayindir. The Turkish star will join from Fenerbahce in the coming hours for around £4.3m.
The 25-year-old is a modern goalkeeper who is good with the ball at his feet and can provide accurate long balls. He also likes to make high claims and can operate as a sweeper-keeper.
He is likely to play in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup games for United, but could also be required in the Premier League if Onana is absent due to the African Cup of Nations in early 2024.
Bayindir has worn the number one shirt at his former club. He is likely to take up the same jersey with the Red Devils. It has been vacant since David de Gea left on a free transfer.
