Following a number of reports from various sources expressing Manchester United’s interested in Noam Emeran, it appears that a deal has finally been agreed for the 16-year-old.
According to local French newspaper, Le Courrier Picard, the Amiens youngster will finally become a Manchester United player by the end of January.
The report says that the teenager will cost us between €80-100k (£71-88k), having fought off competition from the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for the highly-rated midfielder.
Le Courriet Picard have quoted Emeran as saying:
“After talking to my family, I think it was the best choice over what I was offered to help reach the top level.
“Now it’s up to me to do the job to achieve my goals and dreams.”
Noah Emeran also revealed that he modeled his game on United forward Anthony Martial, as well as Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar, and Manchester City’s Leroy Sane.
The report did not state the exact date in which the youngster will join us, but if we have indeed beaten the likes of Juventus and PSG to his signature then this will be a huge coup as we battle to get back into the Champions League places this season, and ultimately, the title race in the near future.
As it stands, we have yet to make a single transfer so far this month so Emeran is set to become our first.
