Cresswell: West Ham don’t need motivation

West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has insisted that his side will need no motivation ahead of the game against Manchester United this weekend.

Man United currently sit third in the Premier League table, while West Ham are eighth following a good start to the campaign.

Slaven Bilic’s side have already beaten the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal on the road this season and Cresswell is confident that they can take away a positive result from Old Trafford.

“We don’t need any motivation playing at Old Trafford,” Cresswell said.

“They are a fantastic team and are third in the league. We need to go there and try and get something out of the game.”

West Ham enjoyed some superb results during the early stages of the season but they’re progress has been hampered somewhat due to injuries to key players such as Dimirti Payet and Diafra Sakho.

However, they still pose a big threat and Louis van Gaal will undoubtedly have his players prepared for every eventuality ahead of the match. Van Gaal also has to figure out how to give his side some more cutting edge as United have struggled up top in recent weeks.
