Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils have had a poor start to the top-flight campaign with just seven points from five games.
They are six points adrift of the top four (as things stand) and need to return to winning ways.
Ahead of the game, Ten Hag has made three changes from the 1-1 draw against FC Twente in the Europa League.
Andre Onana is unsurprisingly in goal for the Red Devils. He has been in top form this season and made a stellar double save against Crystal Palace last weekend.
In defence, there is one change from midweek with Harry Maguire dropping out. He is absent from the squad. Matthijs de Ligt will partner Lisandro Martinez in the heart of the defence.
Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot continue from the right and left-back positions respectively.
Manuel Ugarte makes his maiden Premier League start in the centre of the park. He will be accompanied by Kobbie Mainoo with Christian Eriksen dropping to the bench.
Further forward, there is no place for Amad Diallo in the XI. Alejandro Garnacho starts on the right wing with Marcus Rashford featuring on the left side of the attack.
Bruno Fernandes continues in his customary number 10 role with Joshua Zirkzee leading the line ahead of Rasmus Hojlund, who is getting up to speed after his injury.
Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Spurs: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Zirkzee.
Meanwhile, there is big news in the opposition side with Heung-min Son ruled out through injury.
The 32-year-old is by far the best attacking threat at the north London club and his absence is a huge boost for the Red Devils, who are eyeing a much-needed win.
United are aiming to beat Spurs for the first time in four meetings.
