Confirmed Man Utd line-up vs Nottingham Forest, Antony starts

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made a solitary change to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at City Ground.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways on Boxing Day with a stunning 3-2 comeback win over Aston Villa. They were trailing 2-0 at the break and delivered a sensational response.

Ten Hag will be eyeing a similar attacking performance this evening. Ahead of the game, there is an enforced change in the line-up with Rasmus Hojlund ruled out through illness.

In his place, Antony has got the nod in the starting XI. The Brazilian looks set to start on the right wing with Alejandro Garnacho returning back to his preferred left-wing role.

Marcus Rashford is set to lead the line against Forest on the road.

Here is Man Utd’s confirmed line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Forest: Andre Onana; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Jonny Evans, Diogo Dalot; Kobbie Mainoo, Christian Eriksen; Antony, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho; Marcus Rashford.

Forest raced into a shock two-goal lead after just four minutes at Old Trafford earlier this season. The Red Devils managed to make a stellar comeback to secure a 3-2 comeback victory.

The fans will be anticipating a more straightforward win this time around. United go into the game as favourites and hopefully, they will come on top with plenty of goals scored.

The Red Devils have the opportunity to jump to sixth in the league table before the New Year.
