Confirmed Man Utd line-up vs Bournemouth

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Red Devils are currently on a three-match winless streak in the top-flight and they will be aiming to end the run with a victory on the road.

Ahead of the game, Ten Hag has stuck with the same XI which played out a 2-2 draw against Liverpool.

Andre Onana starts in goal as always. Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka feature in the full-back positions.

Willy Kambwala continues at the heart of defence alongside Harry Maguire. The club currently have four senior centre-backs unavailable due to injuries.

In midfield, Casemiro will partner Kobbie Mainoo once more. The Brazilian was far from his best last weekend and needs to step up against the Cherries.

In the final third, Bruno Fernandes will continue from his customary number 10 role with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho in the wide attacking positions.

Rasmus Hojlund leads the attack and will be aiming to end a four-match goalless streak.

Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Bournemouth: Onana; Dalot, Kambwala, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.

There are no surprises that Ten Hag has gone with an unchanged line-up. We were anticipating Antony to replace Rashford, but the Brazilian is missing from the matchday squad.

According to The Athletic’s Carl Anka, the winger has not made the trip due to an injury.

United have the opportunity to reduce the gap to the top four to eight points with a win. It won’t be easy and they need a strong performance to get the better of the Cherries today.

Bournemouth won the reverse fixture by a surprise 3-0 scoreline. Andoni Iraola’s side are currently on a three-match winning run at home. United will be aiming to end the streak with three points.
