Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made one change to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Red Devils returned to winning ways last weekend with a 3-2 comeback victory over Nottingham Forest. They conceded twice in the opening four minutes, but showed terrific resilience to secure a victory in front of the fans.
Ten Hag will be eyeing another three points in north London today. United have not won a league game against the Gunners on the road since December 2017. They have the opportunity to end the dreadful streak this afternoon.
Ahead of the game, the Dutch tactician has made one change from the recent win over Forest. With Raphael Varane out with an injury, Victor Lindelof has replaced him in the heart of the United defence alongside Lisandro Martinez.
The rest of the team remain unchanged. Diogo Dalot has got the nod at left-back ahead of loan signing Sergio Reguilon. Anthony Martial has been picked to lead the line for the Red Devils despite Rasmus Hojlund being fit to make his debut.
Ten Hag confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Hojlund was available for selection after training a week with the group. The Dane has not made the starting XI, but could feature off the bench after the hour mark today if required.
Here is United’s confirmed starting line-up vs Arsenal
4-2-3-1: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Martinez, Dalot; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.
