Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
The Red Devils played out a frustrating 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce in the Europa League in midweek. Christian Eriksen opened the scoring, but the Turkish outfit equalised shortly after the break.
Ten Hag will want a much-improved performance against the Hammers. The Dutch tactician has made three changes from the stalemate in Turkey.
Andre Onana continues in goal as usual. The Cameroonian made a sensational double save against Fenerbahce to keep United level in midweek.
Noussair Mazraoui has moved back into the right-back position after playing in an unfamiliar number 10 role in midweek. Diogo Dalot starts at left-back.
Lisandro Martinez has been reunited with Matthijs de Ligt in the heart of the defence. Victor Lindelof has dropped to the bench after his defensive error led to Fenerbahce’s equaliser.
Ten Hag heaped praise on Manuel Ugarte’s performance in midweek, but he has been dropped. Casemiro has been reinstated alongside Eriksen in midfield.
Fernandes is back in the attacking midfield position after his one-game European ban. Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho continue on the flanks.
However, there is a change up front with Rasmus Hojlund getting the nod over Joshua Zirkzee.
The Dane has been in fine form, scoring two goals in his last three starts in all competitions.
