Confirmed Lineups: Wolves vs Man Utd

Manchester United face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in under an hour’s time in the first Monday night football of the 2019-20 Premier League season.

We are looking to join Liverpool and Arsenal as the only teams to pick up maximum points in the opening two fixtures of the new season.

Wolves held Leicester City to a 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium in their opening game which included Leander Dendoncker having a goal ruled out by VAR.

The two teams for this evening’s fixture have been confirmed as:

Manchester United

David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Daniel James, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial

Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Axel Tuanzebe, Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes one change from our 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea in our opening game with summer signing Daniel James replacing Andreas Pereira.

James is expected to start down the right wing in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Jesse Lingard moving into a number 10 role in front of Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Rui Patricio; Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady, Willy Boly; Matt Doherty, Leander Dendoncker, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Jonny; Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota

Substitutes: John Ruddy, Roman Vinagre, Adama Traore, Roman Saiss, Morgan Gibbs-White, Neto, Patrick Cutrone

No surprises in the Wolves starting lineup as Nuno names the same XI that started at Leicester and whom also started the opening nine Premier League games of last season.
