Manchester United are at home to LASK in the second leg of our Europa League Round of 16 tie this evening.
We have a 5-0 lead from the first leg back in Austria back in March so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rung the changes with the quarter-finals in mind.
Once we progress the final tournament will take place in Germany, with our match versus either Istanbul or FC Copenhagen taking place this Monday.
Our team for this evening’s game is:
Sergio Romero; Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams; Scott McTominay, Fred; Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Daniel James; Odion Ighalo
Substitutes: Lee Grant, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Teden Mengi, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, James Garner, Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial
No point risking any injuries for the next tie, particularly with the competition being single-legged ties after this round. Though Harry Maguire does start. Brandon Williams is the only other player who you’d expect to start in the next round.
Among the substitutes, you’d expect to see James Garner, Andreas Pereira, Tahith Chong and maybe even Teden Mengi to get a run out in the second half.
LASK finished runners-up in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, six points behind Red Bull Salzburg after receiving a 12-point penalty.
