Manchester United will be looking to go top of the Premier League table with three points at home to Crystal Palace this afternoon.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have started with a 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea and a 1-1 draw at Wolves, whilst today’s visitors have yet to score in their opening two games, taking just one point.
A comfortable win should be on the cards for us this afternoon at Old Trafford. Enjoy the game wherever you’re watching from!
The two teams confirmed for this afternoon’s game are as follows:
Manchester United
David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard; Daniel James, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial
Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Axel Tuanzebe, Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer goes with the same back four for the third straight game. Scott McTominay remains ahead of Nemanja Matic in front of the back four, whilst it looks as though Jesse Lingard will be part of our midfield three alongside Paul Pogba.
Daniel James’ pace will be up against Patrick van Aanholt down the right as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial will switch between left wing and striker.
Crystal Palace
Vicente Guaita; Joel Ward, Martin Kelly, Gary Cahill, Patrick van Aanholt; Cheikhou Kouyate, James McArthur, Luka Milivojevic; Jeffrey Schlupp, Wilfried Zaha, Jordan Ayew
Substitutes: Wayne Hennessey, Scott Dann, McCarthy, Andros Townsend, Max Meyer, Connor Wickham, Christian Benteke
Gary Cahill makes his Crystal Palace alongside Martin Kelly in the middle of a slow defence that Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial should look to take advantage of.
Roy Hodgson has named a 4-3-3 with Wilfried Zaha playing up top, in between Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp. The former England manager has gone very defensive with his central midfield trio.
