Manchester United face Chelsea at Wembley Stadium in under an hour’s time to determine who will face Arsenal in this season’s FA Cup final.
The Blues have had an additional 48 hours’ rest since their last game compared to us, whilst we have also had two games this week, compared to their one.
We’re back in action on Wednesday when we host West Ham United in the Premier League, with the opportunity to move into the top four.
The two teams for today’s game are confirmed as:
Manchester United
David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams; Nemanja Matic, Fred, Bruno Fernandes; Daniel James, Marcus Rashford
Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Odion Ighalo
David de Gea starts his first FA Cup game of the campaign whilst Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reverted to a back three. Brandon Williams and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will bomb on from wingback roles.
Fred replaced Paul Pogba in central midfield, though the latter is named among a very strong substitutes’ bench.
There’s no place in the starting lineup for Odion Ighalo as Marcus Rashford and Daniel James reunite up top.
Chelsea
Willy Caballero; Reece James, Cesar Azpilicueta, Anthony Rudiger, Kurt Zouma, Marcos Alonso; Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic; Willian, Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount
Substitutes: Kepa, Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori, Emerson Palmeiri, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Pedro, Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham
Frank Lampard appears to have reverted to a back five, with Reece James and Marcos Alonso playing winback roles.
It looks as though Mason Mount could be playing on the left wing, with Willian on the right to support striker Olivier Giroud.
