Confirmed lineups: Brighton vs Man Utd

Manchester United will be looking to keep up our momentum and push for the top four with a win away to Brighton & Hove Albion tonight.

The Seagulls had the weekend off whilst we were busy beating Norwich City in the FA Cup on Saturday so we’ve had much less time to recover and prepare for this trip.

Graham Potter’s side have picked up an impressive four points in their two games since the restart – beating Arsenal 2-1 here before taking a 0-0 away to Leicester City over a week ago.

The two lineups for tonight’s game are as follows:

Manchester United

David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes; Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford

Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Andreas Pereira, Scott McTominay, Fred, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Odion Ighalo

Luke Shaw is showing off his fitness levels by starting his fourth game since the restart. Harry Maguire does likewise, whilst David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof all return to the starting lineup after their cup rest.

Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba start together for the second time, joined by Fred in central midfield. Anthony Martial will play the central striker role again, flanked by Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford as was the front three when we thrashed Sheffield United 3-0 last week.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Mat Ryan; Tariq Lamptey, Lewis Dunk, Shane Duffy, Dan Burn, Martin Montoya; Yves Bissouma, Dale Stephens, Davy Propper, Alexis Mac Allister; Aaron Connolly

Substitutes: David Button, Bernardo, Ezequiel Schelotto, Aaron Mooy, Pascal Gross, Solly March, Leandro Trossard, Glenn Murray, Neil Maupay

Tariq Lamptey comes in for the injured Aaron Webster in what appears to be a back five frmo the hosts.

Brighton are lining up with a narrow midfield too, with Argentinian Alexis Mac Allister supporting youngster Aaron Connolly in attack.

The Seagulls have named a number of their stars among the substitutes tonight: Neil Maupay, Aaron Mooy, Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard all available to the manager, who can make five changes.
