Confirmed Lineups: Aston Villa vs Man Utd

Manchester United will move to within a point of Leicester City in fourth with a win away to Aston Villa this evening.

The hosts have taken just two points from their five games following the restart, failing to score in three of those matches.

Here are the two lineups for tonight’s match at Villa Park:

Manchester United

David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba; Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford; Anthony Martial

Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Fred, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Odion Ighalo

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sticks with the same starting XI that beat Bournemouth 5-2 on Saturday, and for the fourth game in a row. This includes Victor Lindelof fit to keep his place in the back four.

Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial have all been fantastic in attack since the restart and will have every reason to be confident in getting among the goals again tonight.

Aston Villa

Pepe Reina; Ezri Konsa, Kortney Hause, Tyrone Mings, Neil Taylor; Douglas Luiz, John McGinn, Anwar El Ghazi; Trezeguet, Mbwana Samatta, Jack Grealish

Substitutes: Orjan Nyland, Frederic Guilbert, Ahmed Elmohamady, Marvelous Nakamba, Conor Hourihane, Henri Lansbury, Jota, Indiana Vassilev, Keinan Davis

It appears as though Manchester United target Jack Grealish will play in a central midfield three in a 4-5-1 formation that shifts into a 4-3-3 in possession.

Aston Villa are starting without an out-and-out right-back as Ezri Konsa appears to be starting in that role. Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw should have success down the left tonight.
