Chelsea only value Alejandro Garnacho at £30m as Man Utd consider Nicolas Jackson swap deal

Chelsea value Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho at £30 million, according to The Independent.

The Red Devils have primarily focused on bolstering their frontline ahead of next season.

They have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, and could pursue a marquee striker ahead of the new campaign.

United have discussed the possibility of swapping Nicolas Jackson for Garnacho – likely in separate deals, but it seems unlikely.

While Chelsea value Jackson at a staggering £80m, they are reluctant to pay more than £30m to land Garnacho’s signature.

United are quite firm on securing a higher fee to part ways with the Argentine.

Man Utd should pursue a different solution for Garnacho

The Red Devils have been regularly linked with Jackson, but The Athletic reported yesterday that the 24-year-old is no longer an option.

The cost of the transfer has cooled their interest. The focus is now on landing Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins or RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

In our view, United are most likely to explore a deal for the former. Watkins could be signed for £50m.

There is also a possibility that Garnacho could move in the opposite direction in a separate transfer, provided Villa value him higher, preferably at £40m.

A foreign solution could be found for the winger too. Napoli could be back in the pursuit after failing to land Dan Ndoye, who has chosen Nottingham Forest.

The Serie A champions have a more limited budget of £34.6m, but United could be willing to do business to avoid Garnacho from joining a direct league rival.

Garnacho’s preference is to stay in the Premier League, but Napoli could make a renewed offer to sign him as they seek to add a young winger to their squad.
