Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was the stand-out performer during the 1-1 Premier League draw against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils went into the game as favourites to pick up three points, but they lacked the cutting edge in front of goal over the course of 90 minutes.
An error from Burnley allowed Antony to find the back of the net in the 79th minute, but the visitors managed to equalise from the penalty spot soon after.
United were unlucky to be denied a penalty for a hand ball, but the fans will still be disappointed with the team, who have won just one of the last six league games.
Looking at the positives, Antony capped a good performance with the opening goal.
Fernandes was once again brilliant with his creativity in the final third, but his teammates were unable to capitalise on the chances created by him in both halves.
The Portuguese managed nine key passes with his 88 touches. Out of those, he created four big chances.
Aside from this, he completed nine successful long balls and finished with a Sofascore rating of 9.3.
The 29-year-old has been in sparkling form in April with seven goals and two assists, but he was unlucky yesterday after a below-par showing from most of his teammates.
United will return to Premier League action against Crystal Palace on the road on May 6. Fernandes should relish the challenge, having scored in two of the previous three meetings.
The Red Devils are currently just one point ahead of seventh-placed Newcastle United and need to start winning games to ward off the Magpies’ challenge for the final Europa League spot.
